Denise DeNicolo, LPC-S, LCDC, NCC
Denise DeNicolo is a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPC-S) and a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) in the state of Texas. Prior to residing in Texas she was also licensed in the states of Georgia and North Carolina. Her professional credentials include a bachelors degree from University of Maryland and a masters degree from State University of New York at Oswego. She is also a National Certified Counselor.
Her experience is diverse, having worked with diverse populations with serious mental illnesses, military personnel, to working in her private practice that is focused on balanced well-being for adolescent and adult populations. Sessions are goal oriented helping the client gain insight into what may be causes of the current struggle and finding effective skills for change.
Denise's mission is to offer ethical and effective treatment for people regardless of race, ethnicity, religion or sexual orientation.
As a Texas State Board approved supervisor, she provides supervision to LPC-Interns working toward permanent licensure. Various consultations services are also available to new mental health professionals.
Denise provides court-ordered child custody and adoption evaluations for judges and attorneys. She is also a professional mediator.
